I began seeing physical changes almost immediately when I started CrossFit. I found comfort in the structure and “tests” that are always coming up in the daily WODs that show you your progress even when you’re not looking for it. The community of like-minded people who surround CrossFit make the environment so rich, vibrant, and full of knowledge. Everyone is constantly pushing each other to be better versions of themselves, not just in the gym, but at school, at work, and especially at home with our families. More than 10 years after my first WOD, I’m still excited to come to the gym week in and week out. I still get to make incremental changes that make me a better athlete and person. As a coach, I’m fortunate enough to share benefits of CrossFit training with our members which has been very rewarding. Getting to see someone accomplish what they were positive they could not is the best part of my job!
